Impromptu party, Harry Potter and Japan

This last weekend was crazy. Saturday we had a Primary activity where I taught a class about Japan, then a baptism for a kid that I home teach and then we went to see Harry Potter with most of the adults in Janell's family. Sunday, we had an impromptu family dinner/party and got some more use out of our Harry Potter glasses.

So we're thinking Anna would be Ginny Weasley
and Lily would be Luna.

Then Michael would have to be Harry Potter and
Stephen would be Ron Weasley.

Um, Mr. & Mrs. Weasley??? (J/K)

Me with all of the nieces and nephews under 15. (In the box city)

Ali (who we like to call Bo-Bali) fanning Uncle Dave.

This is me teaching about being a missionary in Japan. I had
the oldest class and it was 5 girls and 1 boy and I think
they mostly didn't care. It was fun though!

3rd Annual 4th of July Bash

For the 3rd year we had Janell's family over for a big 4th of July bash. We BBQ'd, cooled down with a Slip 'n Slide, did our own fireworks, ate homemade ice cream, made glow necklaces and watched the fireworks from Thanksgiving Point.

Here is Anna showing us how it's done.

Michael had some sweet moves.

Ali was just giddy about this game, we had some adult assistance
to help the little ones make it through.

The adults enjoyed the show.

Stephen and Michael had some special moves.

Aren't they cute?

It probably won't surprise you that I did it too.

If she couldn't be playing in the water, at least there were bubbles.

Maggie spinning Ali around. Very picturesque, yes?

When sliding just wasn't wet enough anymore.

We all enjoyed the Snap Pops.

Carston and Madison showing us tricks with their glow necklaces.

Man, they are photogenic.
