February

February was a short but eventful month. Lizzy has learned so much in her first couple of months at Challenger School. Our favorite thing is to hearing her give the Pledge of Allegiance. She is always singing a different song she learned at school.

Lizzy has gotten really good at drawing people and animals

She even decorated our dining room wall with one of her drawings

Lizzy loves bowling at Trafalga

And she had such an awesome Valentine's Day at her new preschool
Lizzy has also started to become very interested in learning all the songs she hears on the radio. She is always asking us who sings every song and has started to learn some of the most popular groups. Her favorite right now is Taylor Swift and she can recognize her most recent songs. It's fun to hear what she thinks of the different group names. She prefers to call Maroon 5, Purple 6 instead. Recently, we heard a song by Uncle Cracker and I said, "That is kinda' a silly name, isn't it.". Lizzy replied, "I don't think it's silly. I have an Uncle Cheetos", which is what she calls her Uncle Dave because he always has a bag of Cheetos for her.

We even had one Saturday with nice enough weather to hit the zoo

We had a picnic lunch at the Zoo and Lizzy invented a new sandwich, "Nutella and Pickle". It's not bad.

We also had a chance to go to the Aquarium for the first time. Lizzy now gives thanks for the Aquarium in every single prayer.
