December

Lizzy turned 4 in December. She is such an amazing kid and is learning and growing so quickly. She loves preschool at Challenger School and spending time with her friends and cousins. We have seen Frozen a couple of times in theaters and bought the soundtrack. She can't get enough of playing those songs and dancing and singing along. She loves to pretend that she is Elsa singing, "Let it Go".

Lizzy is very attentive and is listening to every conversation that goes on around her. We have to be very careful what we talk about because she will often be in another room playing while we are talking and suddenly she will run in and join our conversation and it is clear that she heard everything we said. Our favorite quote from Lizzy in December:

One night Lizzy was being babysat by Grandma Bailey. When we picked her up Grandma Bailey told us that Lizzy just controlled their schedule all night and kept them going from one thing to another. She was so persuasive, Grandma was just glad she didn't want to do anything dangerous because she might have been hard to talk out of it. We told her, "You should hear the things she talked her last babysitter into", at which Lizzy replied, "Shhh! Grandma WAS my last babysitter!"

Lizzy loved decorating the house and the tree for Christmas

She even made her own Nativity scene out of Legos

We had lots of fun playing in the snow
