One story that we just have to retell is of our niece, Lily, who is 3 and lives with us. One night Rob was helping her and Michael get ready for bed, and he came downstairs to let us know he needed to have a talk with us before Lily would come down. She had complained that every time she came downstairs in her pajamas, Aunt Nell would call her pajamas “P.J.s” and she did NOT like that. So, Rob was supposed to tell us not to call them P.J’s anymore before she would come down. Soon she called down to ask if her dad had talked to us yet. She said, “Dad, did you talk to her?” Rob said, “Yes”, so she responded, “But she didn’t listen?” At this point we were all laughing so hard none of us could respond. A minute later she followed up, “She did listen?” She was just waiting at the top of the stairs for confirmation that she could come down without her pajamas being called the wrong name. We finally convinced her that it was safe to come down and Aunt Nell tried to explain to her why she calls them P.J.’s, so when she still slips every once in a while and calls them P.J.’s Lily is more okay with it now.
the air vent so her dresses blow out.
