4th Annual

Last Saturday we had our 4th Annual 4th of July Party. Here are a few pictures of the party and the rest of our weekend.

Chilling before the party

Max eating dinner in his bungalow

Lizzy enjoying sitting with her mommy

Weather: cold
Wind: ridiculous
Slip 'n Slide: Broken
Result: Only the bravest kids running through an old-fashioned sprinkler

Seth and Lizzy were hating the baby pool
Big Babies! (Well yes, actually...)

Max, on the other hand, was loving it.
Now that I see these pictures, not having the sun
in his eyes might have helped, but he had a great time.

Lily had to be tied down so she didn't fly away. The soda's weren't so lucky.

Lily and Anna making good photo use of misc pool parts.

Ali wanted to be a baby again for the pool

Cousins playing together (or at least in the same room)

Seth making his Grrrrr face

A couple more wild animals fighting over a cup. Ali loved this game with Grandpa.

Doing a few snap pops outside

It was cold, but not quite this cold

Dave, Erin and Seth enjoying the show. Erin's sister, Rachel, even joined us for the festivities.

Grandma helping Lily bundle up

Michael and Lily being adorable together

Monday, we went to the pool with Grandma and Grandpa Bailey. It was Lizzy's 3rd time swimming and she enjoyed her new swim tube.

We also got a chance to visit Lizzy's Great "Grandma Bev". Lizzy really liked her.

Lizzy update: Wow, 6 months old is a great time. Lizzy is just so much fun. She loves to play games and is so happy and sweet. She is getting babysat by her cousin, "Maggie Poppins" 2-3 times a week and she really loves her.

She had her 6 month doctor's appointment last week and is about 80th percentile for weight and 90th percentile for height, so her growth has actually slowed down a little. She can sit up completely by herself and has actually gotten up on all fours a couple of times.

She loves to eat foods with a spoon and is starting to insist on spoon feeding herself. She does great getting the spoon in her mouth and then will just suck on it until there is no flavor left on it and then looks at it trying to figure out how to get more food out of it.

We had Lizzy's 6-month photo shoot and a family shoot yesterday at the Murray park. Click here for a sneak peek of the pictures.
