Lizzy hit 13 months old last week and let me just say, 13 month old Lizzy makes 12 month old Lizzy look like chopped liver. She is so awesome! We are just constantly amazed at the things she can pick up and learn so quickly.
One of my favorite things is besides folding her arms for prayers, she now says Amen at the end. A few weeks ago at church we were out in the foyer for the last 20 minutes or so. The audio in the foyer wasn't on super loud and I personally could barely hear the speakers, but as soon as they said Amen to finish their talks, Lizzy said Amen too. I can't believe she could hear that and was paying attention enough to know when they said Amen.
She is learning to say a number of other words now, but the cutest thing she says has to be "Tickle, tickle". Lizzy loves playing peekaboo and playing with doors and will entertain herself with opening and closing a door over and over again. If it closes, she stands up and tries to turn the handle, but luckily she can't do that yet. Lizzy is quite a climber though. She is always figuring out ways to climb on things and loves going up and down the stairs.
At her 12 month checkup Lizzy was 97th percentile for height. She is already tall enough that she can reach things sitting a few inches in on our countertop while standing on the ground. So, add to that the climbing and we are in big trouble for the next couple of years.
Lizzy got a baby 4-wheeler for Christmas and has now learned how to drive it. Since we are in the process of moving into Janell's parent's house, our basement is completely empty so it is a perfect place for her to ride it since she can't steer yet. She also likes to wear her bib backwards like a cape and stand up while driving it so she looks like a little baby Evil Knievel.
Peekaboo!
Just trying to figure out how she can climb up to get those letters

And for my next trick I will jump 10 flaming Babas
