14 months update

Another month has passed and the fun continues. As you may know, this last month we have been in the process of moving. Janell's parents just left on a mission to Philadelphia so we are house-sitting for the next 23 months. We spent January working on finding renters for our house and were able to get it rented by February 1st. We then moved into Rob and Stef's house for 1 week until Janell's parents went into the MTC. We have now been in their place for a couple weeks and making good progress on getting situated.

Needless to say, it has been a kinda difficult transition for all of us, though. Lizzy has tried to be a good helper, but she is much better at unpacking then packing. She has had a difficult time adjusting to 2 different places but is starting to feel really comfortable at the new house. And best of all, she got to spend some awesome quality time with G&G Bailey before they left on their mission.

Here's what's new with Lizzy. The new place has different door handles which Lizzy can easily reach and open so she has loved having complete access to anywhere she wants to go. She took her first steps over 2 months ago, but is just now starting to really walk a lot. She still likes us to hold her hand as she walks, but she does great all by herself and can walk all over when she chooses.

She also loves starting to wear shoes more and taking short walks outside. During the brief stints of nicer weather we have taken the opportunity to take walks outside with her in the stroller. She loves the opportunity to wear her sunglasses and get out and sometimes we can't get her out of the stroller when we get home.

Lizzy enjoys playing games and lately we have had a fun time playing "Binky, Binky, Who's Got the Binky", Tag and Hide and Go Seek. She is also learning to say lots of new things. My new favorite is when she says, "Thank You". Here are a few recent pictures:
