Punzel! Down your hair!

One day I read Lizzy her Tangled book before her nap.  Then while I sang to her she kept exclaiming - Punzel! Down your hair!  As soon as she got up from nap, she started putting her Rapunzel doll up high so she could tell her to let down her hair.  :)

Looking cute in the morning

The evolution of a princess...  Somehow Lizzy has had the Disney princesses down pat for a good year now. Her original names for them were pretty awesome.  She's now evolved them with her mad language skills:

Pow (Rapuznel) now Punzel
Rella (Cinderella) still usually Rella
White (Snow White) now Snow White
Bow (Belle) now Bew
Sheepy (Sleeping Beauty) now Seepy Booty

Lizzy loves the new Kindle Fire - a great way to help us get out of the house on an early morning!

February was an awesome month for us. Lizzy is such a fun 2-year old. She can have rough times but a lot of the time tries hard to communicate and be really good. At least she finds new ways to say No. Her current favorites are "I not" or "I won't", which are way more fun than just yelling "No!".

We are trying hard to teach her how to do things and she tries really hard to do the right thing. Overall, she does really well during prayers, but she gets into phases where she will poke Mommy or Daddy during prayer instead of folding her arms. Recently she was poking Mommy in the eye during a prayer so we had a talk with her afterwards and taught her again that she needs to fold her arms and close her eyes during the prayer.

We thought we had done a good job and she had learned it well so the next time we said a prayer we asked her what she is supposed to do during prayer. We were expecting her to tell us that she should fold her arms but she immediately said, "Poke Mommy's Eye". We couldn't help but bust up laughing about this and decided to give up teaching for the moment.
