Lizzy is learning a lot of fun phrases recently. She loves Doc McStuffins and is often giving checkups to toys and humans. Recently I told Lizzy she was my Daughter, which is a word she really didn't know, and she replied, "I'm not your daughter; I'm your doctor." She tries hard to speak correctly. One of our favorite things is when she says, "I'm are" (meaning "I am" vs "We are").

Lizzy has always had a tendency to be a little shy but is getting much more brave. Recently she told us, "I'm really brave with Grandmas; and Grandpas, actually." A couple of weeks ago we went to "Family Night on the Farm" at Farm Country. They had Mrs. Wishy Washy read a story and then wash a baby goat. When Mrs. Wishy Washy asked Lizzy if she had an animal at home she said, "I do. I have a kitty", which is very funny but not true.

Then while Mrs. Wishy Washy brushed the goat she asked all of the kids what their favorite song is. There were a number of older kids in the audience but none were brave enough to volunteer their favorite song except Lizzy. She raised her hand and said her favorite song is "I Am A Child of God". No one in the audience complained so we all sang that song while Mrs. Wishy Washy brushed the goat.

Lizzy really loves to sing and loves that song. She sings all day long and every song she sings eventually turns into "I Am A Child of God". She also sings herself to sleep almost every night with that song after we have put her to bed. It is really awesome.
Lately Lizzy's favorite thing to do is to play with her dolls. She gives them pretend baths, feeds them, and does a great job of taking care of them. She always wants to take them everywhere with her.
